PayPal is a widely used and one of the most trusted transaction processing platforms that allows you to easily send money to anyone with a PayPal account or any other verified receiver. Because of the strong security and unavoidable benefits PayPal offers, many people use this as the primary way to send and receive money.
However, though opening a PayPal account is easy and doesn’t need too much time, you need to verify it to get rid of the limits PayPal has set for new and non-verified users. Without verifying your PayPal account, you can’t transact more than a small amount.
There are several other restrictions also.
PayPal Verification Instruction You Need to Know
To verify your PayPal account for limitless transactions, you need to add a bank account, debit card, or credit card. You can do this in two ways. Below are the ways to verify your PayPal account.
Way 1
In this way, you’ll add the card or bank account directly. Follow the steps.
Step 1- Login to Your Account
First, make sure that you’re logged in to your PayPal account. If you aren’t, go to the website and log in with the appropriate credentials.
Step 2- Go to the Wallet Page
In the top middle of the webpage, you’ll see several tabs, including- activity, send & request, wallet, etc. From them, click on the Wallet tab. This would take you to the Wallet page.
Step 3- Add Your Account
You’ll find two options on the wallet page- Link a Card or Link a Bank.
To link a bank, you’ll need the bank account number, routing number, and a few other information about your account. This would take around three-four business days. Within this time, PayPal will make two small transactions to your PayPal account.
Verifying using a card is faster. For this, you would have to put your card information in Link a Card option.
You can verify your PayPal account using Open Pay Card VCC. For PayPal verification, you’ll find a specific card on our website. Also, you can pick any card with a small amount. Inserting the information of our VCC would verify your PayPal account. All you have to do is make sure that the address in your PayPal account matches the address in our VCC.
